Want to make sure no child goes to school hungry? So do we.
Wondering what you can do? Here are a few great ideas and ways you can help:
Students
- Hold a dance-a-thon or walk-a-thon and collect donations leading up to your event
- Collect “By donation only” admissions to concerts, sports events and talent shows at your school
- Organize backpack drives as you head back to school, before winter holidays or at any school event
- Launch a year-long coin drive and measure how much each class or grade can raise
- Make Blessings in a Backpack your student council’s preferred charity – collect donations and backpacks year-round
Teachers & Administrators
- Offer students extra credit for creating and organizing a backpack fundraiser
